I am a journalist and trainer based in London. Upon finishing my BA in Journalism in 1996 I became a lecturer, then Department Head of Media & Journalism Pathway at Christian College of Southern Africa, Harare, Zimbabwe.

I also worked with World Bank Institute as regional Facilitator for journalism training programmes targeted to Journalists from across Africa. In addition to this role I became the Chief Online Editor commissioning and assigning articles for publication.

I am privileged to have worked with some of the brave, experienced and inspiring journalists that helped transform the media landscape in the region - putting ordinary people on the news agenda despite working in challenging environments. During that time I also actively contributed to both radio and television current affairs programmes specialising in politics and human rights and economic development.

My work and particularly my stance on democracy, freedom of the press and human rights landed me in trouble with the Zimbabwe authorities leading me to flee persecution in February 2001. Since then I have worked as an educator in Futher Education in London; and have also achieved a Graduate Certificate in Education, Project Management and QCF Management Level 4.
